I've not had any problems at the moment and I've been able to get appointments on the day. The care navigators handle the calls well and the GPs are very thorough and it all works well. I booked the appointment online with econsult and that has worked well and I feel we are very fortunate to have this surgery.

I can get appointments when needed. Even when I've been 22nd in the queue I've got through and been able to get the help I've needed. Medication has been good to get and I've not had any issues there and the care and staff are good and do very well.
Not great

Appointments are not great to get, I've had times when staff have told me to call back the next day because nothing is available, it's a very busy surgery.

I like that when you call the surgery you are offered a call back with a doctor, not all issues need to be dealt with face to face and the calls are good for certain issues. The phones are busy so I do visit the surgery to arrange things.
A good surgery

It's a good surgery but I do find how most issues are addressed on the day more difficult as I need to arrange transport to get me to the surgery and having an on the day appointment makes this aspect more difficult, it would be nice to be able to arrange appointments in advance.
Running well

Its a good surgery and I feel we are very lucky at the moment although I am concerned about the amount of additional building in the area and the capacity the surgery will have. It's been pretty good to get appointments, which have mostly been on the day and its running well at the moment and nothing really needs to change. Doctors don't really know you like they used to but they are still good when you see them. The power assisted door wasn't working on my last visit.

I use Holbrook but got an appointment here even when I callled later in the morning so I was very impressed, I don't feel there are any issues really other than only being able to get bloods done on a Wednesday but I can always go to other places if needed. The staff are great, helpful, friendly and engage well.

Getting through on the phone is good and then I've been able to get appointments quickly, it must be one of the few surgeries where getting to speak to someone is easy. For appointments I either come here or to Holbrook, I'm happy to go to either.
Easy to get appointments

I called this morning and although the message on the phone is a bit long I did get through and was given an appointment with a doctor. I'm very happy with how it all works and the staff are great. I like that the message displays on the check in screen when a practitioner is running behind. The only thing they could do to make things better is to be able to book appointments online so that you can choose who to see when.
Appointments when needed

More or less I've been able to get appointments when needed but I have had to come to Shotley rather than having the appointment in Holbrook. I got through on the phone quite quickly today and was speaking to the staff in 5 minutes and was given an appointment with a doctor. The only issue I've had has been getting information needed before an operation.
