Good service with very good 1-2-1 support

March 22, 2018
Very good 1-2-1 support provided. Parking is a bit busy. A good service, use the equipment at the centre. The whole process to have my operation was very good and I was referred to hospital for the operation.

Quick appointments and happy with service

Framfield Medical Centre, Woodbridge
March 22, 2018
I was referred into AHP in November and got appointments quickly. I had the options of different locations which is good. The main reason for referral widened but they've treated everything well. However, the benefits have not continued and I feel a referral to hospital is needed.

Framfield Medical Centre, Woodbridge

I was initially given the wrong phone number but once through to them I got an appointment quickly. I've done the treatment and exercises and have now been referred to the hospital. Physios have been knowledgeable.

Have to jump through hoops

Hartismere Hospital – Eye
February 28, 2018
I had a major operation years ago and was told at the time I would need a knee replacement. Recently I had to go through the physio pathway to prove that I needed the operation. It took about a year and meant jumping through hoops for something that was known to be needed from the start.

A hands off service

Its a very hands off service which has limited impact even though staff are knowledgeable it makes the service offered a little limited.

A brilliant service, the physio I saw was outstanding, very thorough assessments completed by different staff and the treatment has been great.

Pathway doesn't

Stow Lodge Centre, Stowmarket
February 7, 2018
My brother who has a learning difficulty has bad knees and is in pain but nothing is really being done about it. He was referred to physio but he can't and won't do the exercises so we are unsure what other help there is available to improve his mobility.

Advice was very good

January 24, 2018
Unexpectedly, the same physiotherapist (continuity of care) was able to see me (it was my 6th appointments since the problem arose. I was feeling a bit 'cornered' by my problem but the physiotherapist offered me a way to move forward in the new year - 'Open Gym'. I am very thankful. The special exercises will complement my weekly exercise class and help during the more difficult months.

GP cannot refer direct to orthopaedics.

Stow Lodge Centre, Stowmarket
January 23, 2018
Pathway now requires GP to referral to physio, regardless of clinical need, to get an orthopaedic appointment.
Major delays, wait for physio appointment, then wait again for consultant appointment.
Whilst waiting prescribed addictive opiates, for pain, apparently not unusual.
Only appear to be pathways for emergency or non-emergency patients, non for urgent!
