Attended 5 or 6 weeks physio course but there was very little physio and it was very basic. I spent most time watching a screen.

The treatment and advice received have been excellent to date. However, I have just tried to get another appointment and have been told none are available for 6 months.

Friendly nurses. I receive notification that a test is needed so I call and book an appointment. Getting an appointment is not usually a problem and the explanations are good. Good to have it so close and the results only take 4 - 5 days.
Unsuitable course of treatment

They confirmed pain, no hands on treatment. The head physio is trying to decide how to progress with my condition. In the meantime physio said to attend a back care group which I was very concerned about as I was still in a lot of pain with a very delicate back. Attended the session, physio didn't even ask me about where I was on my recovery and went straight in to exercises. I stopped quickly as it was far too much and had to go back onto all my medication again to cope with the pain caused by briefly taking part.
Difficult to identify patients

When you call them back they ask for your email address to identify you but when there are two people in the house receiving treatment it won't recognise the second person. There should be a more individual way of identifying someone. the actual physio treatment has been very good

Very difficult to contact them. Had 2 assessments and was given exercises by email. The process is very laboured and broken; nothing goes smoothly and there was no appointment in the end. When you do actually get seen the physios are great

I popped into the Stowmarket venue to try to make an appointment but was told I couldn't get an appointment that way; I had to go online or phone, which is silly

All they ever do is hand you a printed sheet and tell you to do the exercises at home. I've referred myself back 4 times but still have the same pain and no improvement

Self referred to AHP, got an appointment very quickly. I'm happy with the treatment plan and support provided. After receiving treatment I was told to call back if I had any problems which I did with in a year and I was seen quickly and started treatment again. I haven't had any problems getting appointments either.
