It literally took a few minutes to do at Two Rivers Medical Centre. A few questions and then the jab which I didn't feel.

Was encouraged strongly on phone on previous day to accept a Sunday appointment even though heavy snow was forecast. Had to use phone and waited 30 mins, because website wasn't working and still isn't today!
Appointment was made for 1.45pm on Sun and I was assured that if services were closed I would be notified by text.
Imagine my dismay and anger when I arrived at Woodbridge Community Hall at1. 15 to be told by somebody that was there to do filming that site closed its doors at midday. The drive there was very frightening for me and my car got stuck in the driveway on my return. I then tried to ring the number I had rung the day before to see why I hadn't been told, only to find that they were shut too because of weather.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.

I am sincerely sorry that you were not notified that the site was closed prior to travelling. This was a decision made on short notice due to the inclement weather conditions. Staff did try to cancel appointments but it was not possible to contact everyone booked in prior to them leaving home. We also had to close our phone lines as staff were not able to get to our main office.

Again, please accept our apologies and I am very sorry for any distress that this caused you.

When Debenham centre was closed due to bad weather on 07.02.21, I contacted the website link given on my Booking Confirmation message in order to rebook an appointment. The website reference given did not exist.

My experience at Riverwalk was positive.

My only negative issue was with the nurse who gave me my vaccination. I informed her that I was on Apixiban and would need extra pressure on the site of the injection. She said that was not required as Apixiban is not an anticoagulant. She was wrong. As a nurse for 45 yrs, and knowing my medication, her ignorance upset me. The very pleasant nurse who assessed me discussed the issue of Apixiban. She obviously knew the drug.
