Quick friendly efficient,

I am over 80 and was not getting a call from expected sources. WSFT gave me my vaccine because I am a volunteer there. Otherwise I would still be waiting, apart from a 10 minute queue outside, everything went extremely smoothly.

I turned up on the day after instructions from my manager at Ipswich Hospital. It was a fairly long wait, in total just over 2.5 hrs from start to finish. This didn't bother me too much but others had been given appointment times which were not being met. There were lots of people grouped together which didn't seem ideal from an infection control perspective. I do wonder if there could have been a more efficient way of slot allocation - perhaps combining walk-ins with appts was not the best way. But really this is not a complaint, I was just grateful to receive the vaccination.

Booking appointment was confusing - website crashed, code ran out, eventually smoothed out. Recieving vaccine at Trinity Park was well organised and staff all friendly, helpful and efficient. I reacted to the vaccine with flu-like symptoms and felt wiped out for several days.

The Gainsborough centre experience from start to finish was extremely well organised.

I decided to go to Ipswich (Gainsborough sports centre) for my vaccine as Woodbridge seemed to be in chaos with their roll out of the vaccine.

Only glitch with code texted to me. It said, in error, it had timed out even though I tried immediately. Phone line busy. Tried again next day and had been rectified although I never did get a confirmation text or email. No, it wasn't in my junk.. Gp surgery also rang to check I had a booking - v good.

Phone call was clear and to the point. Organisation at the centre was very well managed from entry to the car park, to the consulting room, to the jab and the way out. [and there was no food!]
