Well supported with my condition

The surgery has been very good over the last year, supporting me well with my condition, however, I've just asked for a face to face appointment to discuss what a consultant has told me but I've been told I will be called. Due to the nature of the discussion I really would prefer a face to face chat with my doctor.
Would like more face to face appointments

I feel that getting a face to face appointment should be offered when you call up for an appointment rather than having to wait for a doctor to call you back. When they do call, you do get an appointment though. Getting prescriptions over the last year has been great, staff are so helpful and I've never had a problem getting my medication.
Like the triage system

Been very pleased with the surgery as appointments are available when needed. I like the triage system that means the doctor calls you back it works well for me and you don't always have to come in.

Have had a very good experience with the nurse. I had a smear test and the nurse was very good at talking me through what was happening and putting me at ease, made it a much better experience.
Would be nice to have a female doctor

Always able to get an appointment, phone or face to face, with in a good time and its always the most appropriate option too. It would be nice to have a female doctor as I'd feel more comfortable discussing some issues with a female doctor but overall very happy with the practice.
Worked well over the last year

We have our annual health checks coming up and even last year with all the difficulties we had them then too. Other than that we've not really needed to use the surgery much over the year but when we have everything has been easy to arrange and its worked well for us.
Can't fault the surgery

They are doing very well considering the situation. I can always get an appointment when needed and the triage systems where the GP calls you back means I only have to come in when necessary, very lucky to have this surgery.
Appointments and my work availability

As I work full time and different times it can be difficult to get an appointment time to work in with my availability. I get my ears syringed regularly and it seems unusual to me that the nurse has to see me first then they have to make a new appointment to actually get them syringed. ( I have been informed about GP plus today as an appointment option for the future)
Good appointments process

My GP is pretty good. The surgery arrange a call back from the GP to me and then an appointment is made, very good I think.
Minimal waiting at appointment

I can get an appointment within 2 days usually, no waiting or very minimal at appointment. It seems unusual that I was asked to come to the surgery on two separate occasions when I think it could have all been done in one visit, I came once for the nurse to take some blood and once for my blood pressure, patient convenience is not always taken into consideration.
