Call waiting works well

It is a busy surgery but when you call you generally get through straight away but there is a more of a wait, about a week, for regular appointments which are face to face. For urgent issues you speak to a GP or other member of the team and are then called in to the surgery. I like the call waiting system as it has worked well and means you don't have to stay on the line if there is a queue. The only thing that would improve things would be to have additional extended hours to help with fitting appointments around work. The staff are good and I don't mind being asked to go to Stradbroke for appointments if it is necessary but then I drive.

The surgery staff are pretty on it with the questions they ask and they do what they can to maintain continuity and they are accommodating. I believe that you then get more rounded and personal care that way. When receiving the call backs from the team it would be a bit easier if there was a time given as when you are working being free to receive calls at any point can be more challenging. Last week I missed three calls from the doctor, they did leave a message and then I called when able to. I then received a call quickly and it is concerning that it messes them around but not all jobs allow you to have your phone on you at all times.
A good surgery

No problems getting appointments they are easy to get and all the staff are great. Where I live means I can go to either Stradbroke or Fressingfield for appointments and that works really well.

It's a very good surgery, I really can't fault them they are spot on. Staff are very proactive, they are helpful and accommodating and I never have any issues as they will sort out any issues . The doctor I've been seeing has been amazing very open to the discussion and it's the first time I've felt my experience and feelings have been valued and they are supporting me to come off medication I've been on for a long time. It really is a lovely surgery with wonderful staff.
Limited parking

It's a good surgery where I get to see someone even if it's not the GP. The only issue is the parking which is limited.

The surgery is very good and I get to see or speak to the same GP each time which with my conditions is very helpful and I really like it as it makes it easier.
3 week wait

I waited 3 weeks to see a nurse, it wasn't urgent but I would've preferred something sooner. I do get to see the same GPs which I like as they know and understand my history and the care and treatment is good. They all do their best.

Amazing especially with the children, always get a call back or see them and I'm confident in the approach. I feel we are well listened to and are lucky to have this surgery, it all works well.

I have a caring GP so I try to see them each time and generally I'm successful in doing so. There are no long waits for appointments and nothing to improve, however, I am concerned about the additional housing going up locally. When I received a diagnosis from the hospital I was then contacted by the team at the surgery to say they'll be there for me which was showed how supportive they are, I was so pleased with this.

The NHS app works very well to get appointments and I've not had to wait long for the appointment. The phones are answered quickly by reception and the nurse practitioner is excellent as they provide very good person centred care. It would be great if more nurse appointments could be available at Stradbroke as I mostly have to come to Fressingfield.
