Lack of monitoring

I've not had nurse appointments to monitor my diabetes since covid which is very different to another family member who has been seen regularly. It would be better if I didn't have to chase to have appointments. Although the surgery haven't seen me I have had regular eye screening and seen my consultant.

Staff are good

I've been able to pre arrange an appointment with a doctor so that has been great and I have no issues seeing any of the staff. The change to the layout in the waiting room feels quite cramped but as a surgery I feel that it works well when I need appointments. The waiting area does look tired and the carpet really could do with being replaced.

Struggle

I struggle to get appointments with GPs. The wait on the phones when trying to get through to the surgery are long and then I've been cut off, once when talking to staff, and then have to re-join at the back of the queue. Once I do get through I've been given a telephone consultation but to get a face to face with a GP is very difficult normally. Because you can't book appointments ahead it makes it more difficult to plan and I feel that's a real shame. The call session at 12.00 has now been dropped so everyone has to call first thing and we now see whoever is available and not your own GP. The website implies if you get ill later in the day you won't get seen as it says the only time to call is 8am.

Takes time

4-5 months ago I came to the surgery to see a GP and was referred for a scan which took a further 4-6 weeks, I then had to wait a further 3 weeks to discuss the scan results but because it was a phone appointment I found it hard to hear everything being said. I've now needed to arrange another appointment with a GP at the surgery for a better explanation of what's going on. Things just take so long, it's so drawn out.

A good surgery where appointments are available when they are needed and the staff are caring and do all they can to get issues sorted out. It has improved here.

Same day appointments

I am very content with my surgery I phoned up last week and I got a face to face appointment on the same day. The GP I find is helpful no issues found, Also the front desk staff are very polite and helpful, they have a nice attitude which always helps.

Medical staff good

I don't have to visit the Health Centre very often thankfully, but I do get called in once per year for an assessment. I have always found the staff to be kind and helpful and the GP is very good and any other medical staff that I have seen along the way such as nurses, I do not have any issues with them.

Everyone is pleasant and helpful and the staff are all pretty good.I feel that it works well to get appointments at the moment as I've called in first thing and had the option of a face to face. It would be good to be able to get blood test done here more easily.

Not been hard to get appointments. I spoke to the doctor this morning and they invited me in for an appointment soon after. The staff are great and I don't feel that anything needs to change.

Very pleased as I spoke to reception and have been given an appointment. I didn't have to wait long on the phone when calling in and have had good continuity with the doctor I've seen, although I'd be happy to see any of the doctors, they're great.
