I see the Diabetic Nurse regularly, and the service has just been consistently good, supportive and always very caring in their approach. How they deliver information to me as a patient is very human and in simple terms.

Looked after me very well

They looked after me very well through cataract operations (had both done now). The continual care linked to my diabetes too has been without fault

Grommet issues

After being admitted with infected Grommet I am continually checked and still under the service as the one left is still there, advised it should fall out after maximum of 3 years and it has not, so I am in continual pain.

Staff under pressure in Eye clinic

Have been accessing this service for a number of years now and have seen the service depreciate due to more demand. 7 Years ago they said they were training more staff to do injections and yet still there are not enough. Staff are very lovely but under so much pressure, in turn affecting delays in patient treatment as my appointments have changed in response to staffing issues.
