Great Chemo team

The chemo team have been great. The advice and support has been very good so far and I've been very impressed. Parking has been wonderfully easy due to the parking passes and allocated spaces and makes such a huge difference particularly when attending regularly.
Make me feel at ease

Been under this service for a couple of years and I cannot fault them. They make me feel at ease. We have connected through my love of 'Winnie the pooh' and we have a laugh making up stories. The nurses let me give them character nicknames. Due to my stress/anxiety and nature of my illness on top of this, this team go above and beyond to help me be where I am being treated and feeling looked after. Cannot thank them enough.
Stressful as never see same person

I get stressed with this clinic as I never see same person twice. I get uneasy about it and do not seem to be getting anywhere with the treatment. I am told one thing by one person and find out it has changed when I speak to another person.

Excellent care. In for 3 days. We were told explicitly that partners cannot stay overnight. It would have been helpful if we could as I was unwell and baby had a few issues. So support was needed

When visiting the 'Fracture Clinic' - Quite a wait even though you have an appointment. It is very busy.

Have had regular visits and they have looked after me well. They always know what is going on, whoever I see, which is reassuring.

Over 7 years due to chronic health conditions I have, and still, see many dr's in different departments. They all tell me different things and no one will commit to diagnosis. I would score lower but my reason for middle score is that mostly the staff are lovely.

I did have a very good experience as my birth was straight forward. No mention was made about over night stays. You should be told all the options so you can make an informed choice. If I had been given the option we may have taken them up on it, as we could and would have planned childcare for overnight for our other child.

They run very late

I regularly attend this clinic. My last visit I was there at 3 pm for appointment and did not get out until 6.30 pm. There was no where to sit for some time, and being elderly with limited mobility this adds to the distress of the situation.
