The department was great. From soon after the mammogram everything went like clockwork, with treatment beginning quickly and efficiently. Staff were amazingly good, very friendly and create such a good atmosphere. Follow up treatment - it would be nice if the annual checks continued but they stop after a number of years.

I was told I needed an x-ray by my doctor so went to the the hospital and only had to wait a little while before I was called. The staff were all really polite and friendly and I was quickly on my way. They've told me I'll get the results in about a weeks time. All in all a very good experience.

Went to A&E by ambulance and the staff in the department were great. They acted very quickly and I was very quickly diagnosed with pneumonia. Once this was said I was taken up to the ward and stayed for 10 days. The care was great on the ward including all Health Care Assistant's and nursing staff. Medication was given well and regularly.

Once you get in to the hospital it's very good but referral times are long at times. The diabetic centre is very good but I would prefer to be seen more often. It can be difficult to find a car parking space.

They are really good at seeing me, but I am now waiting for the next pre-assessment to have my other cataract operation. The parking at the hospital is very difficult, even with my blue-badge. I now use the NEPT service instead of being taken in by my friend who can drive my car for me.
Martlesham ward staff brilliant

The nursing staff on the ward were brilliant and care overall was very good. Pain was well controlled with medication and the food was very good, with a good selection available.

Treatment has been good but receive very short notice requests to come in for appointments, sometimes the letters don't arrive before the appointments and I don't really know why I'm having the appointments and what will be done. My operation will be done at Colchester which is a concern for people wanting to visit. I feel that I've walked in to something but I'm not really sure what is happening at the moment. It was only when I turned up today that I found out I was having a head scan.

The service is clean and efficient. It was easy enough to get the appointment booked and staff have introduced themselves each time I've seen someone new. Its all been very good today, running to time and I've received good explanations from staff about what to expect.

The care provided has been very good in each of the departments I've been in. The appointment letters have all been accurate, the only thing is that the carparks are very busy and its difficult to find a space.
In CT the staff have all been very good, this morning. Its good that the appointment letter explains that there may be delays if emergencies come in but I have't had to wait long. Staff have introduced themselves, have been friendly and explained things well.

It's all been very straight forward and to the point. Staff have been really good at explaining the whole process and it has all gone smoothly so far, The letter for the appointment arrived in plenty of time. Staff have all introduced themselves and have been very good and I have nothing but praise for the hospital.
