mental health issues

I didn't find them overly supportive of mental health issues so I changed surgery as a result. I was just told not worry about something but I wasn't just anxious and it turned out to be something that did need looking at more.

I do worry at times when my epi pens are not available for my allergy and I've not been able to have my weight loss injection for two months but the staff are lovely and do what they can.

I've not had any problems getting appointments and the staff are good. It seems that there have been changes to the dispensary team, with new staff, systems and software and it can be worrying when you have to leave a message for them but don't necessarily get a call back as I've worried that the message has been missed when I've not spoken to someone.
A bit of a wait

There's been a 2-3 week wait to see someone specific but doctors are good when you do see them. The nurses monitor my diabetes well but I've had difficulties with my medication not being easy to get, even the local pharmacy hasn't got it. Parking is difficult as the car park is small and you do have to queue outside when visiting the dispensary.

I haven't needed to use the surgery much but when I rang at 8am I was given an appointment for a child very quickly and I was really pleased with how the person I spoke to listened to what was needed. I haven't used the online systems yet as I believe I need to register for them but it has all worked well.

I called this morning and the staff were nice and polite and listened to what the problem was and I was given an appointment with a doctor later in the morning. It didn't even take long to get through on the phone and the staff are really nice and explain issues.

Its worked very well today, I booked an appointment in advance for this issue and it has worked well.

I love the surgery, the staff are nice people and lovely and accommodating. They have been on the ball with my husbands palliative care. It would be great if they had the capacity to just check in with us each month but they're busy.

No issues getting appointments and the staff provide good information. I've mostly seen locums but telephone consultations are ok but it can be difficult to get an in person appointment. There has been good communication between the surgery, hospital and pharmacy has been good and my medication has been available when needed.
Have struggled

I have struggled to get an appointment for a 2 year old. By the time I got through I was told there were no appointments available and to call back the next morning. I then spoke to reception and we have now been seen. In the past we've seen 4 different doctors for our daughter and they all said the issue was something different. In the end I identified what the problem was and they arranged for the right medication which did work. I just feel that we weren't well listened to with this issue when normally staff are nice and helpful.
