Very good surgery

I went down to the surgery today and they were absolutely great. I spoke to a receptionist at 9am and was given an appointment to be seen at 11am. I've had no issues at all with the staff they are all wonderful. The GP is caring and reassuring and has been wonderful.
A good surgery

It's a good surgery but I don't like that you have to have a call back before getting an appointment and I've never been invited in for a shingles vaccination.

The staff are accommodating and I've seen an improvement with the dispensary too. Staff deal with issues well and when I had a problem with my medication I spoke to the practice manager and I was really impressed with how they handled the situation.
Really good

Easy to arrange appointments, they're normally available in a couple of days when you call and it doesnt take long to get through to reception either. The communication with dispensary isn't always easy as I wasn't told when my normal medication wasn't available and I've had problems in the past with the substitution given so I'm very reluctant to take it.
Staff all great

Appointments are available whenever they are needed and the staff are all great but it doesn't feel as personal as it used to and communication is more difficult as you see different staff. It would really help to know when medication is not available as I've had wasted trips to the surgery to pick items up only to be told it's not been delivered yet.
Amazing

Amazing mental health support has been provided by one of the doctors, they've been a massive support to me. The dispensary doesn't seem very organised or proactive as my monthly prescription is often not ready to pick up and I've run out of tablets at times.
Lack appointments

For on the day appointments it's fine but other than urgent issues you have to wait 3-5 weeks to see a doctor especially you're own. I don't get to see my own very often and I would prefer to be able to do so more often as I worry about the continuity of the care provided as they suggest different things to try. The staff are lovely and the nurses great it's just access to appointments that could be improved. I've had a few issues with my prescriptions not being correct too.
Doctors are interested

The building work has made it feel less personal and homely but doctors are interested and think things through and pay attention to detail.

It's been good to get an appointment today after I rang first thing. The dispensary is still a little difficult to get medications that are needed but staff do go through the different options and the last time I took the prescription else where to get what was needed.
Supportive staff

I get on the day appointments and given choice of appointments too. The staff are friendly and supportive and when we registered as new patients they were so helpful. The children are also seen very quickly when they are unwell.
