The service has got a lot worse
November 6, 2015
My electric indoor/outdoor chair needed new tyres. I waited over 2 months. The chair then broke (back axle broke & wheel fell off). I spent 2 1/2 weeks on my bed before a loan chair came. My feet can't reach the foot plate so we have strapped an old biscuit tin for my feet to rest on. It only travels at 1 1/2 mph so it is impossible to go out.. I don't know how long it will take to repair my chair. this happens in a change of service repairers. No communications from anyone. I always have to ring them
Attentive district nurses
November 5, 2015
The nurses came out, following my discharge from hospital, on two occasions. They didn't remove the catheter on the Friday (first visit) as they were concerned it would cause problems over the weekend so they came out on the Monday morning as well. I was happy with the nurses and the treatment provided.
Pleased with referral process for physio
November 5, 2015
After seeing my doctor about a knee problem I was told to contact the physio team to have an appointment with them. I completed the rather long self referral form online. They contacted me with in the five days that they said they would and I have an appointment in 3 weeks time, which I feel is quite quick.
No guarantee youll be seen at the time given

Wickham Market Medical Centre Community Ultrasound Service - Scans at wickham market. Drink 1 1/2 litres 1hr before appt. Drive over & sit & wait. No guarantee you'll be seen at the time given. If you get so desparate you have to go. You have to start with another appt!
Inconsistant and Frustrating
October 2, 2015
My son has a few difficulties. We are not receiving the care he requires. The professionals involved are not communicating with one another. We were happy with our sons first paediatrician who was arranging a multidisciplinary assessment along with the occupational therapist. The new paediatrician put a stop to this without meeting my son and refused to see him unless he had a report from pre-school but my son is now not coping at pre-school but when trying to contact them you have to speak with a secretary.
Can't get podiatry appointments frequently enough
September 4, 2015
I am a diabetic and use the podiatry service but because I cannot be seen regularly enough I have to pay privately for appointments. As I do not know when the appointments will be have had to cancel the private appointments at times when I am told. The care I receive is good, it's just not regularly enough.
good service provided

There have been no problems booking appointments, Having the option to attend the clinic at either the hospital or at Stowhealth is good. They phone and send a letter as reminders and it has been brilliant service.
very good service

Appointments come through annually, this year I called to change the appointment which was easy and quick to do and the service has always been very good. I like the fact I can have this done locally rather than having to travel into Ipswich.

Lack of community physio
July 24, 2015
Difficulties in breathing. Tendency to get pneumonia. No one in community healthcare services who can give physio in community to give me the physio to clear my lungs. Would save a lot of crisis care! Too much responsibility for family and friends to have to do it.
