Partial knee replacement was carried out at the hospital and the nurses and care were absolutely brilliant.

All the staff were great, they couldn't be better . I was operated on the Friday and released on the Saturday as everything had gone so well with the operation.

The clinic is really good. My husband was referred by Specsavers. He was seen in 2 days and back for treatment 2 days later. The clinic does all it can to give us appointments in the morning to make it easier for us and the staff have been brilliant.
amazing treatment in CDU

I was admitted to the unit following a fall and was really surprised when the nurse first asked me when I had last eaten. I hadn't had anything since 6 am so she went away and came back with a bag full of food and a patient pack. I couldn't believe how wonderfully they treated me.
very good experience at the eye clinic

I had a cataract operation earlier this year and through all my visits to the department all the staff have been excellent
I cannot fault them

I was admitted to the Macmillan unit at the hospital in the summer of 2014. I attend regularly and really cannot fault any of the staff. They have been wonderful. When I was first admitted I was struggling to eat and the support staff were very encouraging and spent time with me to help me eat again. I also use community transport to get to all my appointments which is very helpful.
Poor treatment in ENT

The first visit was excellent. Specialist explained what he was going to do, explained spray was painkiller - no problem. Second visit was 45 minutes late so rushed - no pain killers used. When I came round my right eye very painful and my throat. Later on having regular eye test found I had a cataract in that eye. My throat has never cleared up - no other appointments were made for me. At 81 years supposed to sit in armchair and die quietly. Had another eye test by Boots chemist - referred me to Bury St Eds hospital. Notice came back AA. Said I could still drive - nonsense. Walked in my kitchen looking for something cannot see it, return to go to lounge then see it. I'd be a big danger on roads turning corners etc. Enough said.
