Hearing test

My appointment was for 4.00pm so I thought there might be some delay due to 'slippage' during the day. Not so! I was called just a minute or two after 4.00 and the test was very efficiently carried out with full explanations along the way.
Responsiveness of porters

I saw a woman have to sit down as she entered the hospital due to a spasm of pain. A porter was there within a couple of minutes with a wheelchair to help her to her appointment.

I had one ear syringed to remove wax. It was punctual and efficient and I would have scored it 5 but my ear still hurts!

The whole process - fracture clinic - x ray - fracture clinic took less than one hour.
Unexplained minor delays

Overall my endoscopy was fine-it isn't a pleasant procedure and minor unexplained delays during the process made it less satisfactory than it could have been.
Slightly frustrated by incorrect information

I was told that there would be a wait - One hour was indicated to me. It turned out to be slightly over two hours and I could have gone home and come back if I had known.

DAN The department was good and well organised. Staff were excellent and facilities very clean.

There were no disabled parking spaces available when I arrived at 8.00 this morning. All but one leg supports had 'gone missing' from orthopaedics dept as well! Not good, my mobility is inhibited.

I was delayed in clinic because my bloods took a long time to come through. This said, my overall treatment has been superb.
