No delay today

Staff today were quick, pleasant and efficient. Sometimes I have had to wait in the past though.

Doctor had a very cool attitude

Cardiology

This was the first time I had seen this doctor and they were noticeably not as friendly and empathetic as those I have seen previously.

There was some delay but otherwise it was brilliant-the girls in the plaster room are just lovely.

Caring, friendly, professional

September 16, 2015
My care during my second pregnancy by the Blackbourne midwifery team was excellent. Every midwife I saw was caring, knowledgeable and took time to listen to my queries and concerns. I had my baby at home and the midwives who attended helped to make it a beautiful and wonderful experience. Only thing which could have made the care better would be a shorter wait when I went to West Suffolk Hospital for a heart trace - not great when you're worried about your baby!

generally very good

They didn't call to cancel all appointments so we visited the hospital for no reason and when we were told by a member of staff they didn't apologise.
When I had my cataracts done, however, the department was really great. I was seen by the consultant and then offered a cancellation appointment for the next day. Very efficient.

Outstanding

Hearing aid services
September 4, 2015
I attended the clinic to have my hearing aid checked. They cleaned and replaced the tubes which has made a big difference. The staff were good and I was seen quickly. We had only just sat down when we were called in for the appointment.

Poor support after miscarriage

unknown
August 24, 2015
I was in the early stages of pregnancy and problems developed. I went into F14 and was told I was losing the baby. I was left in a room with my partner without any advice/support. I was told everything would happen naturally and sent home. I became very ill and had to be rushed back into hospital. I feel that I have received very little information-for example I still don't know when it will be safe to try for a child again.
