West Suffolk Hospital

This is a repeat visit for me. I saw my GP who wasn't able to deal with the issue so they advised to come to A&E. I've been here about an hour and a half but haven't been triaged yet. I came in last week and the experience was good then.

I got my finger trapped in a machine and have been here 2.5 hrs, which isn't too bad. Everything has been good so far and I'm now waiting for an xray. Staff are doing a cracking job.

After trying my GP with an issue and being diagnosed over the phone but then getting worse I decided to come to A&E. So far been very happy with everything. I arrived near to 9am but have had tests including bloods and an ECG already and its only an hour and a bit later, so its all been done quickly. I know whats happening next as its all been explained well by the staff.

111 advised I should come to A&E. I've been here since 8.45 and I've had a range of tests done with in two hours.Everything has been explained well and staff have been very nice and understanding. I don't really know how long I'll be waiting now but I'm happy with everything.

After calling my surgery this morning I was advised to come to A&E. I've not been here long and already been triaged by the nurse and I'm happy with how everything has gone so far.

Following a scan last week we were given an appointment to come in today. So far we've been seen by the triage nurse and are now waiting to be seen by the doctor, so far the process has been good and the staff have been great. All treatment at the hospital has been great.

I spoke to my surgery this morning and was advised to come to A&E. All the treatment and interaction with staff so far has been very good. I also attend orthopedic appointments where the waiting times at the clinic can be quite long but overall very happy with all care from the hospital

I've had a number of visits recently since I caught covid 19 and now have long covid. I was admitted for treatment which worked really well and haven't really had to worry about it for some time but I had a flare up this weekend and after calling 111 was advised to go to A&E for help and was given steriods. I'm back again as I'm still in pain and my GP surgery are not able to do anything further . I did feel challenged by the member on the front desk when I arrived as they questioned my need to be there, I'm only following medical advice so I shouldn't be made to feel I shouldn't be there. We've also had to visit the paediatric A&E recently and didn't even realise it existed. They were amazing, the environment is set up for children and I was really impressed with how well designed and laid out it was. The staff were also amazing with our son, very good.

When at appointments it can take some time to be seen as they run behind but generally I'm happy with the care provided.
