I've not had great experiences at the hospital and actually decided to discharge myself when nothing was progressing, no tests were being done I was just lying in a hospital bed when I could just as easily been at home.

I was taken by ambulance to A&E and couldn't believe how quickly I was seen. The staff were great and ensuring I knew what was happening at every step. All the problems were sorted out and I'm very grateful.
Not seen a consultant

I have a heart issue but have only seen a specialist nurse rather than a consultant which I do not understand. Nothing has been explained about what can or can't be done to help me or why certain things are unable to be done.
Two colonoscopies cancelled

I meant to have a colonoscopy following treatment but two have now been cancelled from the original appointment in January. I've not been given a new date now and I'm just waiting for them to contact me which hasn't been nice. I've been given no other information or advice.
A long wait in A&E

I had to wait 5 hours on a hard chair in A&E which was pretty uncomfortable. A range of tests were done through out this time but when they all came back as normal I was sent home.
Care provided is good
Diabetic Medicine

Mum and Dad are seen by the eye clinic and diabetic clinic and the care, advice and support has been great even throughout the past two years. The hospital arranged for diabetic clinics to be run from local village halls, which meant the check ups continued and more locally which was even better.
Midwife was excellent

On her day off my midwife came in to the hospital to see me when I was induced which was great. My induction worked really quickly and my baby was born in 50 mins. I was given all the information I needed throughout, I just expected it to take longer. I didn't need to stay in for long and the care was good and once discharged her weight was monitored as they were a little concerned about her weight.

I was referred by my GP and was seen with in two weeks, I had a CT and colonoscopy and a follow up appointment with in a month, I was impressed by the speed of getting the tests. Before the colonoscopy I had to have a PCR done at the hospital but they insisted that it had to be done in a car. I live in Bury but don't drive so I had to arrange for family to pick me up just to have the test done.

My labour and birth were good but the after care felt as if I had been forgotten. They'd take my son for tests and 2 hours later when I was asking where he was they'd just say oh he's fine he's over there.

My hospital appointments all the way through has been perfect from xrays to blood tests all have happened quickly and have been easy to arrange/ get.
