Easy referral and good physio

Sadly, I feel it’s a waste of time for me, I use all my muscles already with daily tasks. After their exercises I feel in agony. I have a hospital appointment soon with my shoulder. I had a steroid injection for the pain some time ago and it was marvellous I had 10 weeks of being pain free, the pain is getting me down its rotator cuff problem. Self-referral online was quite easy for my daughter to do for me, and the physio has been lovely with their attitude towards me and kind, but I do feel it’s a waste of time.

The physio made me feel better, they listen well. I asked if I could be moved from Felixstowe as I wasn’t getting on in the same way, the location is good here and they have a lift which means you don’t have to climb the stairs

Initial appointment was a self-referral on advice from my GP November 23, I had a review appointment January 24 and today is my first appointment since and they have now booked me 3 more. While I was waiting, they sent me an exercise sheet
My condition will not benefit too much

They are always on time, staff are good, my condition will not benefit from too much physio but its something they are trying.

They have given me exercises the same as before, I am in line for a potential operation, but they are helping me here to manage the pain and they might even not put me on the op referral list depending how it goes with them, we will see.

If I need to make contact with my physio directly outside of my appointment it would be helpful to have a contact number. I do feel that I have had good outcomes, and they will refer to the hospital as needed. There is a TV screen in the waiting area why is it not being used? you can hear a pin drop in here

They explain things well, they don’t make me feel embarrassed if I don’t quite understand, I’ve been here three times so far and they have been good experiences

I have found it to be helpful, I have a spine curvature and I think the exercises have loosened me up a bit. I have had massage in the past elsewhere oh I do wish they did that here. The physio gave me an idea to join aqua aerobics, he is a nice young man, very helpful. They are going to give me a try in the gym here next time. I do feel that they are interested in my progress which is good

It was an easy online self-referral, they sent me an email, gave me exercises and was a fairly quick response and a phone call.
