Good referral made

I made an Ask My GP online appointment request and within 30 mins I was given a phone call and an appointment, this was quite astonishing as I cannot usually get face to face appointments quickly at all. I was sent to Riverside to have a Gyne scan and I have to say I was treated very well and dignified by all staff. This was a good swift referral made by my GP surgery as I was then put on a 2 week pathway for further exploratory tests and scans.
Good medication review

I was happy with the medication review I had recently and was pleased with the discussion until I said that I didn't want to go on a certain medication when the response made out that I was being silly with my reasoning. I would also prefer to have my reviews and blood tests at a different time of year as after Christmas my results never look good.

It's a good surgery. I'm listened to and when I called recently and was too unwell to get in to the surgery I received a visit at home which was really appreciated.
Not keen on the system

I went to the surgery when I felt unwell but reception wouldn't or couldn't arrange an appointment or call for me and told me I needed to go home and call. When I got home I called and was given an appointment that morning. The system isn't very flexible and quite unhelpful at time especially as I felt so unwell.

Once in and have an appointment it's all good, its just that the process to get to that point is more drawn out than it used to be.

Its a wonderful surgery, very caring and on top of all the issues I have. My family usually arrange my appointments for me but we get them whenever needed.

I'm very happy with the surgery. Care provided by the doctors and nurses is great and appointments have been fine to arrange too.

I use Ask My GP to get the appointments and have found that works really well as I can ask to see/ speak to a specific person. The nurses I've seen have been particularly brilliant.

I've had very good support offered for anxiety. The doctor really listened to the problems and provided a great deal of support in a way that suited me.

I've found it to be a good surgery. It can take a while to get through on the phone and you don't always get to see a doctor but may be that's not always needed.
