There are many over 75's in Brandon that do not have personal transport.
How are these people going to get protection if there is no walk-in vacc centre

Getting a covid jab was difficult

Getting a covid vaccination for a teenager with heart issues was very difficult. Our specialist at the Royal Brompton Hospital advised that one was needed but none of the Suffolk system including the doctors and hospital were willing to give it. In the end we managed to get it at a local clinic but it really shouldn't have been as difficult as it was when specialists are saying it is needed.
Anti virals available quickly

I am a cancer patient, and when I was diagnosed with covid I was given the anti virals very quickly, I was really impressed with the system.
3/4 hour wait

I visited the Gainsborough site for my booster as my surgery could not provide one when I returned from overseas. I waited for 3/4hr for a booked appointment time to find that those who were dropping in without an appointment were being seen ahead of me. Surely it should either be a drop in or an appointment system not a mix of both. There were only two people vaccinating which is why it was taking so long too.
Have had to fight to get vaccinations

I'm immuno suppressed and getting my covid vaccinations when I've needed them has been really difficult, I've had to fight every step of the way and I really shouldn't have to. You just keep being passed round from pillar to post with no one taking responsibility.
Difficult getting 3rd dose

As an immunosuppressed patient I have really struggled to get my third dose rather than a booster. Unfortunately even after showing my letter and having multiple conversations and emails confirming what I needed I was still only given a booster.

Couldn't fault Swan for how organised they were when it comes to covid jabs and boosters. They had an incredible task and from using the booking system (super quick!) to actually arriving on the day. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. And you were in and out within minutes. Brilliant service. Thank you

Getting a booster jab in Newmarket has been very difficult especially if you can't drive. I don't use online services so its very difficult to when and where booster sessions are available.
