Only downside was the distance to the medical centre in Reydon
Hostile - very poor

I attended the former Riverwalk School site in Chevington Close today for my second vaccination. Most of the staff were the usual friendly, efficient staff you tend to expect. However, the person who administered my jab was vile. I say 'person' as I have no idea if they were a doctor, nurse, HCA or cleaner. They did not say who or what they were. I have no idea if they hate all people or was making a particular effort for me, but they clearly hate what they are doing. I am sure it is boring, but if it makes you speak to people like dirt under your shoe perhaps you should do something else. So different from all the other people involved. My wife has been a nurse for over 30 years and I have met hundreds of NHS professionals down the years, all of them lovely people, but this person was cut from different cloth. In a procedure that only takes two minutes, it was quite a feat to convey that much contempt.
Too fast and chaotic- unprofessional

Directed into a room where 2 staff were sat. Looked up and informed me they were on a break so retreated and then redirected by someone in corridor to another room where GP told me to stand up for vaccine as he wouldn’t bend down to give it! Luckily I’m not needle phobic but he didn’t know this!!
Very unprofessional, no explanations

My experience was quite frankly horrific. Apart from my name and date of birth confirmed, the only question I was asked was which arm. No advice given either about blood clots or after care. No leaflets given.
Cancelled my jab & didn’t tell me

Grove Medical Centre - They cancelled my jab. Didn’t tell me until an hour before. I had to leave a meeting early in another town to get transport just for this jab. Not happy.
Very poor social distancing control

I attended the Chevington Close, Bury St Edmunds Vaccination centre on Sat 22 May for my 2nd vaccination. I was alarmed at the complete breakdown of social distancing control particularly between older people (for 2nd jab) and the younger recipients, who now carry a greater risk. Whilst signage was everywhere the staff and infrastructure directed people to become too close. On two occasions, whilst I was stuck in a queue, other patients were sent or escorted back through the system, past all the people queueing. It took 45 minutes to get through the building and most of that time I could not maintain adequate social distancing. I was also briefed 3 times with the same detail by the non-clinical admin staff, who's scripts appeared to change with every patient! The car parking was odd as the bays at the centre of the car park were being left empty and I was directed to park outside, as I had arrived 10 mins early after travelling for an hour. My first experience (1st jab) on 6 March was very good. I was in and out of the building in 10 mins without unnecessary delay and with adequate social distancing and briefing. Something has gone wrong with this site's supervision in my opinion.
Friendly and professional service.

I have had both my Covid vaccinations at Paddock Road Surgery in Harleston. Each time I was impressed with their efficency and professionalism. The whole experience was pain free....literally.
Quick and efficient

My vaccination experience was a good one. Although there was a lot of people queuing for a vaccination, I was seen very quickly. Staff members were friendly, gave advice and information and treated me as an individual.
There was a long wait regardless of appt time

Paperwork wasnt collected in after I arrived so my wait was prolonged and a general lack of organisation
