Helpful staff in A+E

Come into A+E this morning, friendly staff and waited an hour to be seen. Could be helpful to have some way of knowing where in the waiting queue.

Accident and emergency services

Helpful receptionist, seen quickly by the triage nurse. However, nowhere to park a larger vehicle, work van and in A+E you don't know how long to pay for parking. Would be better to pay on leaving rather than when arriving.

Radiotherapy - Efficient, cheerful and kind

Fantastic equipment, although not as up-to-date as it might be - They didn't do the breath hold technique to protect my heart. Brilliant staff. Fun waiting room, believe it or not!! Jigsaws, sweets, magazines etc.

Helpful, comforting and accomodating

The midwives and consultants who looked after us were wonderful and kept us calm as we were very nervous first-time parents. The post-natal care was particularly good, and the midwives made sure we knew we could call them with even the smallest query - a great help!

The only negative was that the consultant was interrupted from stitching me up as a lunch-lady knocked and tried to offer me lunch - I felt it would have been better to have been offered this once the immediate post-birth necessities had been completed.

3 appointments with small child (6ish) hearing test abounded because she took time to seize.
Perhaps they will do better next time.
