Good experience in fracture clinic

I broke my wrist in April and when the cast was fitted I went to see the consultant who said it all looked good. I went back the following week to see the consultant who said that the hand was slightly tilting backwards but that it would settle when the cast came off. But it has not changed and I've been left with a wrist that is not right. I've been invited in for a bone density scan but not been advised what to do about the wrist.
Radiotherapy treatment was excellent.

The treatment I've had I can't fault anything. They have been great. I attended 5 days a week for treatment and all the staff were good.

I was referred by my GP a week ago for an appointment with the colorectal Consultant and I received an appointment for the next week.

Too long a wait for surgery

I've been referred by my GP and I have been told that there will be a 3 month wait. Because it is a debilitating condition I have had to pay privately to be seen for a consultation and possibly the surgery.

Nursing staff all very friendly and caring across all the wards I spent time on (A & E, ITU, Lavenham & Needham wards). Always involved me in my case and care pathways. Kept well informed throughout.
Long wait for surgery

I was referred to hospital for a hip replacement but 4 months later hadn't heard anything so I 'phoned but they had not got any information about me. They said they would look in to it and call me back. After weeks I called them and I finally had the operation 7 months from the first appointment.
No appointment for surgery forthcoming

Diagnosed April 2015 with skin cancer told to expect an appointment for surgery in 6-8 weeks. Still waiting in July 2015.
Staff sometimes need to be more tactful

Visited A & E and returned to hospital for bone density tests. Generally the support and care I received was good but one member of staff was quite rude about my weight even though it didn't really have much to do with the tests being completed.

I went into hospital for an x-ray and was in and out within 20 minutes. It was a great service.
