Wheelchairs
July 10, 2015
There needs to be more wheelchairs for visitors and they need to be of good quality such that they can easily be pushed and steered.
Parking
July 10, 2015
Insufficient visitor/patient parking spaces, over price, much prefer to pay on exit as difficult to know how long to pay for, especially if attending a clinic. Better still, the first hour to be free of charge.

Problem found with my heart
July 10, 2015
I visited the department for a test but they were unable to complete it due to them finding a problem with my heart. I was told by the consultant that the heart wasn't pumping properly and was given medication for 3 months. I was then sent an appointment letter by the nurse I went in + she asked if i knew why I was there, which I didn't. She said I had heart failure I feel that this although said in a well meaning way was a shock + there are better ways I could've been told.
Labelled Hypochondria; no one listened to me
Endocrinology
July 8, 2015
Over 2 months, I experienced several collapses at home, had paralysis on one side with high blood pressure. I was admitted to A&E on each occasion, subsequently referred to Endocrinology. On my medical notes I was labelled with Hypochondria. I was sent for two mental health assessments which were distressing, I had numerous blood tests etc. No one was listening me about how I was feeling. I researched my problems and realised that I had a significant mineral and nutritional deficiencies, these nutrients were passing through my body in my urine. I started to take minerals in particular potassium and proteins, feel so much better. This experience has made me scared of going back to the GP or hospital.
I did make an official complaint to the hospital.
