Excellent nursing care

Thankful for the excellent care from the nurses and doctors when I needed a hip operation and had to stay in hospital.
Good care in fracture clinic

I broke my leg and needed to have it set in plaster and then return to fracture clinic. The staff and their care were very caring and they listened to me.

Just spent 10 days on a Cardiac ward in Ipswich hospital. Excellent care by both doctors and nurses.
6 month appointment delay

Having been told I needed to be reviewed in 6 months, it took several phone calls to the department and for my GP to intervene to finally get an appointment 6 months later.

Visited Oncology department several times this year for chemotherapy. All the staff are very helpful and kind. This is an excellent, quality service.
Friendly staff

My wife is in the Eye Clinic this morning and she is a regular visitor. She receives her appointments when we would expect them. Staff are friendly and it is good, quality care. Would prefer shorter waiting time before being seen though.

I was seen this morning by my GP and was referred to the Eye Clinic who are seeing me the same day. Usually a long wait though, at least an hour and a half.

Cataracts removed from both eyes as day patient. Good information given before and after each surgery. Was referred by Specsavers in Ipswich who recognised the need for the cataracts to be removed.
Excellent care for my hip replacement

Hip replaced in 2007 and other hip replaced this year in March (2015). Very good care on the ward for 5 days after the surgery and good follow up care. In today for my follow up X-Ray.

Inpatient on Martlesham Ward for surgery to shoulder. The staff were helpful and explained what was happening. Also a good experience on the same ward in 2013 when I had surgery on my back.
