The team on the Sarah Chapman Unit are very lovely and look after my wife throughout all her caring needs. They are on the end of the telephone if I need them for any help. I have rang them a few times and they are quick to get the service I need, such as the District nurse out to us.

Lady was pregnant during this experience. Consultant led because of my mental health. I had a specialist midwife who was supposed to get extra appointments like last time. This did not happen so I went to my mental health nurse & she was very supportive. I went into labour on my due date and had my planned water birth. They could see my placenta was tearing and they were unsuccessful at getting it all out. I was told a doctor would come & look at it later. It never happened and I was discharged the following morning. I was told that it would come away naturally when at home. 2 days later the midwife said my pain was after pains. Next day we called 111 but then it got so bad that my Mum called 999. The ambulance came and tried to get me on maternity ward but they wouldn't take me & I was told to go to A&E. They sent me to a general ward who sent me to the maternity assessment ward. I was in for 4 days, 3 days on antibiotics. I was told I could have died !

Having lung problems , in bed for 7 weeks with pneumonia and bronchitis, I had a telephone appointment and was given prescription that was delivered by pharmacy. It cleared up & I had a follow up appointment & he referred me to the hospital as I was very wheezy. I had the scan. Didn't get told anything. Went for annual COPD checkup and they said "What are they doing with you as scan is abnormal" Then took 2 weeks to get doctors appointment and asked doctor about it. He said I had lung hardening. Saw specialist 3.5 months later. I get no care at home

We are here today as we cannot get into our GP and I know my daughter needs medication

I have been unable to get a GP appointment for the last 7 days and get tired of trying to call at 8am, so I decided to come here today to at least get seen. I saw the meet and greet person promptly and have now been waiting 1 1/2 hours, but I do not mind as I am concerned and at least I know I will be seen today.

I was referred for the 'Pain Management' clinic last year as I have arthritis in my spine. After the first few classes, I found it to be good, but then one week we had a 'stand in' who I believe must have been a volunteer as he was very elderly. He commented that I could have painkillers but they'd just make me sick & arthritis 'comes with age anyway'. I found that a weird thing to say, because although that may be true, it was very negative.I didn't want to go the following week, as I he had said he was covering it whilst the other person was on holiday, so I didn't attend. I know it would be good for me to do it and have asked my GP to refer me to it again, in the hope we get someone less negative and frankly 'rude'.

Arrived and no bed ready. Soon sorted & patient ready & taken up for test. Told she would have to wait until 3.30 for a final x-ray to check ok then can go home. 3.30 no way, 4.30 no x-ray. This continued until very stressed and threatened to go home without it. They had no idea patient was waiting since 3.30 and had not received details from the department. Arrived home at 9.15 pm. Not happy

No bed available on arrival so had to wait. The staff were excellent; there was a lack of communication between diff departments within the hospital. We were treated with the utmost respect by all the diff levels of staff

I was late myself so was pleased that they still saw me.
