After having a stroke a few days ago I was looked after very well in hospital Had an MRI on the Sunday and discharged Monday. Was only in 3 days. Not fully discharged yet. Next will undergo ECG to keep eye on things. Gave me a bag full of meds to carry with not much info so in GP surgery to go through it now.

Looking after me very well, now I have 2 types of cancer (prostate and blood). Do wish I could have the blood tests at my local surgery, as its quite a trek from Bungay for 2 weekly tests plus all the other hospital appointments

Husband had emergency surgery to remove gallbladder and everything was excellent. In and out in a day and a bit.

Having waited over a year in great pain for a replacement hip operation I was disappointed to be called three times for the procedure. The first was postponed for a week, four days before the appointment. The second was postponed for three weeks after I was in hospital gowned and sedated. Eventually I had the operation carried out by the surgeon, to whom I am sincerely grateful.
It would help though if the hospital aimed for a 'first time - every time' approach to delivery of services.

X-ray dept don't answer the phone

We support our friend and he had a letter from the hospital to call the x-ray dept to get an appointment. We tried many times over 4 days. It just kept ringing and when you press '5' for a callback it says "there is not call back available". We went into our surgery and they tried 6 times to call but had no success, and they said the system is a shambles.
We were advised to just go to to the hospital. So we traveled from the Beccles area and turned up at their department who stated that they don't take calls. - they come in elsewhere. But as we had traveled so far they offered us an x-ray there and then.

They looked after us all well, however we felt we were left with no communication for some time and the wait to access the service was quite long.

They looked after me throughout the process and follow up visits. TAlked nicely to me and made me feel comfortable.

After my operation, I would have liked better explanations. It's only now, over a year later I feel I fully know the extent of my condition. The Stoma Team, whilst 'blunt' are excellent and always there when I need them, mainly on the telephone, which often is all that is needed.

It is too long for me waiting for appointments for the Urology department.
Staff are lovely though and treat me well once I get access.
