Who is my GP?

Who is my GP, I dont have a clue, you never see the same one twice. If you are asked at the hospital who is you GP I dont have a clue.
I phone up after 2pm for some test results, the lady said phone at 8am for your results as phone appointments are all full, you need an appointment to get your lung function results so she made me a face to face appointment at 11.30 same day, I was surprised. The doctor said this could have been done over the phone why have you made an appointment! I was flabergasted, I said I didn't ask for an appointment I was told that I needed one. It seems staff and doctors need to have a bit beter communication between themselves as to what the rules are on this.

I ring up at 8am, wait 45 mins to actually get through, then they tell me all of the appointment have gone, ring back tomorrow, everyone seems to phone at that time and you have no chance!

I use both online and the phone but still struggle to get a face to face appointment. The only thing I will say is that they do a ring back facility which means you dont have to wait holding the phone, and they do seem to respond fairly quick.
No same GP consistency

I do try to ask to see the same GP each time but unfortunately there is never any guarantee to get to see the same GP which is disappointing to me. But other than that the medical team are fine.
Need more diabetic face to face guidance

I have found the level of spoken English with one particular doctor is very difficult indeed, to the point where I can hardly understand much that is communicated, I have asked not to have this doctor only because of this as I am concerned that information may get miscommunicated. On a different matter the first time that I was told that I had pre diabetes with via a printed letter I would have liked this to have been communicated either by phone or face to face I found it to be rather impersonal for what I felt was a sensitive piece of information, latterly I have not really had much guidance about my diabetes face to face, leaflets are not the best way for me.

This is a good surgery I find, its quite easy to get through on the phone and the staff are quite helpful, treatment good from the medical team, no issues.

I get same day call backs and then been seen by my GP regularly, obviously depending if they are in that day. This morning however, the phone line kept cutting off when we were on the line waiting to get through. We had to call back so many times, each time going further back in the queue. Family translate for me in appointments and that works well for me.
Can't rate high enough

A really great surgery, I've seen different doctors and all have been good. All checks are carried out and when I've been particularly unwell they've contacted me at home to check how I am. Great.
Kept hanging on the phone

I don't rate it high at this surgery, they keep you hanging on the phone waiting too long and then told to call back, how frustrating it is. One of the GP's are very good and give you plenty of time but thats it really.

In my experience this is a good surgery, they seem to be prompt and I recently had an MOT with them, the staff are lovely people.
