50th in queue today

Often when ringing 'on the day' all appointments are gone, but today although 50th in the queue we got an appointment, so that was surprising. We can go online, but often as circumstances change from day to day, ringing on the day when we know we can get in works best.
Wish you could ring later

Very happy with the service we get from the staff. Yes it is difficult to wait so long on the telephone in the morning with the school run to do and so I wish you were able to ring a bit later and know that there would be appointments still.
A good relationship with our GP

Found things very good here. Rang today and was booked in with the nurse practitioner. We have also a good relationship with our GP and for as long as they are here we would not want to move.
Long winded

Generally get an appointment with the nurse even after a good 20-30 min wait on the telephone. When needed to see GP I have had a call back within an hour both times and then was invited in. Quite long winded
Triage is good

We do have a long wait to get through on the telephone - usually half an hour. I have found the triage good when I have just needed advice and not needed to see someone. I would welcome an e-consult type service as I find ordering prescriptions online easy to do too.
A lot of hoops to jump through

I find it a hard job to get in. You wait quite a while on the telephone only then to have to wait for a telephone call. Just seems a lot of 'hoops' to jump through
Nurses excellent

Have found that all the nurses I have seen are excellent. When I called on Friday there were no appointments but they booked me in then for today (Monday). So I find that excellent. When I moved here about a year ago I was dubious about the system, but for me it has worked well. I can answer my phone at work but can understand for those who cannot it can be difficult to get spoken to.
GP particularly good around mental health

Difficult to access on the day appointments

Thankfully do not need the service much. Find it difficult to access on the day appointments. Took 15 minutes and was 25th in the queue.
Good at seeing the children quickly

Good at seeing the children quickly but not so good when I need to see someone. Here for 6 week first check of the baby and that all got sorted in a timely way
