Good continuity and ongoing care

Good continuity of service even when we see different GPs. Good ongoing care. You can be on the telephone about 30 minutes before you get through which I wish was better but they still have appointments left.

Practice very busy but always polite . Have always managed to get an appointment. Nurses and doctors have fulfilled our needs, supporting evidence for onward referrals. Good that nurse practitioners are now not on the triage appointment system trying to save the doctors time.Telephone system is long when waiting for speaking message when full to be redialed it would be helpful if it could advise that the system was full earlier in the call.

Awaiting results of a scan I called the surgery and was told to try in another couple of days as they weren't ready. As I was unwell my daughter called with my permission and was told again that the results were not in. Then the receptionist said "not sure what you expect me to do?" which was very abrupt. I then called the next day and got a call back from the GP who said the results were on the system, the previous staff must have been looking in the wrong place.

Although it takes a long time to get through on the telephone, when needed I either get a call from the GP or an appointment. So it works well.

Awful reception and phone staff

Be prepared to spend an hour on the phone only for a rude receptionist to talk over you then hang up mid-conversation. I've submitted a complaint in writing to the practice but two months on still not had a reply.
