I don't like booking appt booking system

I don't like having to tell the receptionist exactly what is wrong with me, how are they qualified to decide who I need to see or talk to?
Then I have to wait for someone to call back and have waited for hours for this, then I have to repeat to the Doctor everything I had already told the receptionist.

I hate the fact that you can't make appointments in advance, only on the day by phone call from the doctor. This is inconvenient

I tried to ring my GP, which the GP had asked me to do, the reception staff said I couldn't be put through or book a time to talk to the GP and I would have to call back at 8am the next day and request again. I explained I'm travelling to work at 8am but there was no flexibility.

I can't make an appointment for the next day even though all appointments have gone for the same day when I've rung in the morning. Frustrating to have to start all over again the next day.

Very helpful. Quick to get through on the phone and they call back when they say they will. The triage system means you get an appt that day. can't fault them
