Why are doctors not seeing patients

You can never get to see a Gp no matter whether you are really worried or had major surgery. You need to stop using covid as excuse and get back to seeing patients. How can you prescribe when you physically aren’t seeing or touching the patient. Despite being urged to get seen by another healthcare professional.

Service great. App asking not to contact.

I've always had a great service from the staff at Stowhealth, kind and attentive. But needing to boom through the app which every day has a large message asking to contact if absolutely necessary makes me feel awful to contact them and has put me off messaging before but it has left me in a bad way before just because I didn't want to pester them and feel like a nuisance but it was actually something I really needed their help with. I do use 111 when necessary like my children with their croup

So efficient and can get appointments whenever needed, its such a smooth process. The reception team actually care and all the staff are great. Call backs happen really quickly and I like that you can respond to their message. It's a lot easier to get an appointment and its a professional service, I'm very pleased

Ask my GP works so well, I don't have to hang around on the phone waiting to get through, it's so quick and easy to use, a really wonderful system.

We are glad that the system works well for you. Although we encourage our patients to use the AskmyGP service, our telephones are still open for those that unable to do so.

Used ask my gp this morning, I was asked to send a photo and then had a face to face appointment and was seen quickly. I'm not fussy who I see so may be that helps.

Ask my GP means you get seen on the day and its great how well it works. Email responses are my preference and then if necessary I've been given a face to face, I'm not worried who I see. Nothing needs change.

It's absolutely fine here, we're here a lot with the children and never have any problems getting appointments for them.

Appointments are fine to get and I've had 10 minute responses when submitting an Ask my GP . Its a very pleasant surgery where information is well explained.

Reception are lovely and the whole staff team and service are brilliant. Using Ask My GP is a nice smooth process and it's such an easy system to use. I've been asked to send photos twice and they've been seen quickly. Staff are efficient and friendly and I even get to see the same GP most of the time which has been very good. The car park is difficult and it would help if some kerbs were changed as its very tight with other cars at times. Signage in the building could be clearer as a first time visitor it was unclear where to go and it would be great to have more comfy chairs in the waiting room.

Thank you for your positive feedback about the Stowhealth Team! We are in constant discussions with our landlord to try and improve the car parking and are hopeful that things may improve soon. We also have a PPG (patient participation group) at Stowhealth and one of the things we are currently looking at is a change to our current waiting room. We agree that it is all looking rather tired, so with their help and ideas, hopefully we can soon make some improvements.

I really like Ask My GP

I really like Ask My GP as it stops you having to wait on the phone to get through to the surgery and you get same day replies . I've had quite good consistency with the staff members I've seen too and overall I think the surgery is working well to get appointments.
