Works well

Ask My GP works really well and gets such quick responses with a call back and then a follow up appointment if needed. The staff are all so friendly and I feel that you get to see the most appropriate person. The only issue is the size of the carpark.

Thank you for feedback. We agree that the car park is too small for the number of patients that we now have. There are ongoing discussions with our landlord to try and resolve this issue.

Ask My GP is perfect and gets such a quick response as little as 10 minutes from the GPs or nurses. I'm able to request specific members of the team when needed to help with continuity of care and I'm kept well informed. I've had very good experiences recently all in one week I was referred to hospital, had an appointment there 2 days later and was operated on the following week. I've had fantastic care throughout.

Never any problems

Ask my GP is ok but I needed to get used to it but it does result in quick call backs from the GPs and nurses and then a face to face appointment when needed. I've found reception handle questions and issues well and get them sorted out quickly.

Missed appointment

Have a specific issue when waiting for an appointment. The notice recommends you check if you haven't been seen with in 15 mins of your appointment time but when this happened I was told that I hadn't been here even though I checked in on the screen and I was never called in person. I was then told I should check 10 minutes as I'd been marked as not attending so I feel the message needs to be changed. The nurse kindly fitted me in for the appointment a bit later on. I do generally see the nurses more than doctors and even though I've been diagnosed with something I've never actually spoken to a GP about it which I would've preferred.

Not able to see a GP

I've phoned but not been able to see a GP and keep being given a pharmacist or nurse but I don't feel the issues are being addressed. The pharmacist has changed my medication and that has highlighted there are other issues. It's just frustrating that you can't talk to a GP to get the issues sorted. I asked for a prostate check but they weren't willing to check even when I have some symptoms.

Working well

I'm a new patient so not used the surgery much but staff have covered and explained how to access things and its been working well so far. My first experience with a nurse wasn't as great as I would expect but I hoping it was a one off.

Mainly nurse appointments

I'm mainly being given nurse appointments not with GPs and my medication was stopped with no explanation so I still don't know why. I find it difficult to get across that I need to be seen by a doctor rather than a nurse.

Ask my GP is good and on the whole works but can't always get appointments on my day off as I may contact the surgery and speak to them but then not be invited in until the following day which isn't so great. Staff especially the nurses have been very good.

Great Care

The care is great but it can feel like the doctors don't particularly want to speak to you as they suggest all the other team members and places you could go for help before being seen by them.

Very good system

I really can't fault the Ask My GP system used to get appointment, it works really well. The responses from the team are quick and on the same day and whenever I've needed to be seen I've been given an appointment. The doctors, nurses and reception team are all very good.
