Brilliant

I use a mix of ask my gp and the phone to contact the surgery, ask my gp works well when I'm working as I can send a submission in and wait for a reply and when I'm home its just as easy to call. Either way the responses are good and I feel that it is the best practice around and they see you as soon as possible. The staff are so friendly and I have huge confidence in the staff as know them well and can get appointments whenever needed. Parking is the only issue here.

I've had quick responses when using Ask My GP when contacting about my daughter. I called today and spoke to reception and I had a call back in about half an hour which was great. I'm happy to see any of the staff so that probably helps. The parking is an issue but not a lot can be done about that.

Good for appointments

Its good for appointments but I do feel that as I've got older the support has dropped away. I don't really see GPs anymore they just pass you on to different people.

Struggled a little

I have struggled a little to get a doctors appoitment. I can't use computers due to my disability but each time I call they ask me to go online, its frustrating. They ask why my daughter can't do it for me, even though I'm not online I want to remain independent and in control of my own health appointments.

Very good

The people I've seen have been good, friendly and helpful. Conversations with staff have been good and I've seen the right person each time so I really can't fault anything. I'd prefer to see the same GP if possible but they weren't in today so I'm happy to see a nurse, nothing needs to change.

Sight loss not recorded on notes

I do feel that my slight loss should be shown better on my notes and that it should be taken into consideration by staff. There are times when they don't seem to realise and they walk off and leave me.

Very lucky

I use the phone to contact the surgery as I don't go online and that works well to get through to someone quickly. I then get the support needed and I think we are very lucky to have such a great surgery.

Feels like you wait longer

Although the care and staff are good it does feel like calling and then waiting for a call back takes longer and when you're unwell it can be difficult. Overall though its a brilliant surgery.

I have no issues at all getting through when calling the surgery and I always get to talk to a doctor quickly which is then followed by an appointment if it is needed, so I'm very happy.
