Need a letter for medication for the plane. After delays night before and doctors still won't sign off letter with medication that is required for severe allergies reaction despite being prescribed. Dangerous and stressful. Reception and admin staff did what they could but wouldn't even let us speak to a doctor.
Feel an inconvenience

Can be made to feel you are inconvenient if you don't use online to contact the surgery and that staff are doing you a favour when they fill in the form for you. However, I did have a GP appointment arranged on the day I contacted the surgery.

Been able to arrange appointments easily enough and I've had no issues at all. The staff are all good too.

The disabled parking area is much better now that additional spaces have been allocated.
More difficult

It is more difficult than a few years ago to get appointments. When I've used econsult it's been okay but it is more drawn out when you are unwell. At my last review I was just given a website to visit but there was no discussion, it feels more detached.

Sometimes difficult to get appointments when going online and it does feel that appointments with doctors are more limited now. Bloods though are quick to arrange in advance which is good.

I prefer not to go online and I feel it is difficult to get the information across on the phone. The reception staff are very good but I've had to be persistent at times. This time I've been given a GP appointment however, getting in to the system is the difficult bit, once in the appointments are good.

Econsult seemed to work well when I've used it and everything is done or followed up on. There are good GPs and they do a good job. I've been able to get appointments quickly as needed and bloods in particular have been easy to arrange. Things seem to fall in to place well and if there is a problem you get to see a doctor.

Online is user friendly and works very well. Whoever you see they spend time and the appointment doesn't feel rushed. It's also great to have the pharmacy on site.

Phone calls have worked well here for blood test appointments as get seen quickly. I've had good conversations on the phone with the doctors but at times it can be difficult to hear what is said.
