been let down 2 times by a doctor . you have to wait 3 weeks for a call back. can not get to see a doctor face to face . left to cope on my own . after a heart attack in march. waited 7 days . had to ring 111. nobody rang me went in to hospital 14 days.no after care at all
Procedure for Babies is Terrible

Process for getting anything for under 6month babies is utterly ridiculous. You cannot do an econsult, I assume this is because they are so young and things can change so quickly for little ones so important to be able to be speak to someone quickly? But when I ring I’m stuck in a queue for 20mins plus every time, for the receptionist to just do an econsult on our behalf anyway?! How is this at all efficient?! I waste time waiting on the phone, tell the receptionist everything, wait whilst they type then wait for a call back from a Dr?! Makes zero sense.
That said, I do hear back quickly once I’m finally able to get through on the phone.
I just think it’s a backward process. I would hear back even quicker if I could get through quickly on the phone or do an econsult myself.

Received a prompt telephone consultation from a GP and was given a face to face within the hour.
E consult works very well.

E consult - always a response within the day. Either advice or a booked face to face. Caring staff .

Trying to get a letter but now waited 8 days, emailed on the econsult twice now. Third time still no response and certainly not the timings as per their own econsult!!!

Not only have my family been kicked off their books after we moved and they said it was fine to stay as we work very close by. But I asked them to kindly fill in my medical form for my shotgun renewal which they were happy to do them some time later said they could no longer do this for me !!! Post Covid this place really is not fit for purpose.
Very difficult to see a doctor face to face.

I have had an on-going urinary tract condition and decided to go to the Spire hospital in Cambridge to get a diagnosis. I had previously self referred to find out if I was experiencing pelvic floor problems and I had lost weight with slimming world. Following a flexible cystoscopy I was prescribed Mirobegron. It has taken Woolpit Health Centre three months to prescribe this although they have on file a letter from the Consultant Urologist, dated 23rd February 2024. I also sent Woolpit Health Centre blood pressure readings. When my condition suddenly worsened I tried to see a doctor via e consult. Virtually impossible. On my second attempt I was sent an appointment when I am at work in school which I had to turn down. No other was available at Woolpit. The new e-consult system is very inefficient and not patient friendly. When it does not work many frustrating hours are wasted trying to find a solution. This must put pressure on receptionists. I think I have waited long enough since my condition began two years ago and I had already had surgery for a renal fault.
Quick, efficient and reassuring

Felt like the Dr literally called me on me pressing submit of my econsult- super efficient! My son got seen straight after school (v convenient) and the Dr was caring and attentive and very reassuring. Very grateful to have him and the whole team at our disposal. They work extremely hard, certainly under pressure and with very little thanks! So thank you for all you do!

I don't understand why the GP's are so afraid of actually seeing you! They have a system in place that makes it near impossible to actually see someone. Very poor service. Their preferred method of contact is e-consult but it's not mine.
