Reception are helpful, the communication is good and clear. I was referred for an MRI scan. Cannot think of any improvements, maybe a coffee machine in reception.

Text reminders are helpful

Exercises have been helpful, they have explained things well to me, making an appointment is easy and I find the text reminder for the appointment helpful. Cannot think if any improvements needed.

Privacy is minimised

Riverside Clinic, Ipswich
May 25, 2022
Exercises have proved to be helpful but I am not sure the physio is the only answer. Privacy is minimised with my hearing loss as there is not an area that is private and with other patients talking in the next bay it is hard for me to hear what is being said to me clearly.

Staff attitude is good

Riverside Clinic, Ipswich

They have been helpful to me here and the staff have a good attitude. Also reception is good and friendly. Consistency of having the same physio has been good. I found it useful when I had a text sent to me with pictures of my exercises. I would just say that standing on the floor with bare feet bothers me, I think about infection control, I wish they had a disposable mat or something.

Able to change appointment for me easily

Riverside Clinic, Ipswich
May 25, 2022
I had to change the appointment date because of a family bereavement, and they were very sympathetic and were able to change my appointment easily and also they accommodated both me and my mum so that we could be seen at the same time. They have been great.

Privacy Issue at Ipswich

Riverside Clinic, Ipswich
May 25, 2022
People do not seem to know that they can self refer, they think they have to go to the GP first but they dont. I have found the physio extremely thorough and has identified my issue well and they have explained things well to me and have been generous with their time which allowed me time to ask questions. They have been more helpful than expected. There is a privacy issue at this location there is a single curtain between me and the next patient and you can hear everything that is being said. Ivry Street surgery used to do physio and it was in a private room.

Difficult to do exercises

I've been given exercises to do by the physio after talking to them on the phone which has been ok but because I'm in pain it's very difficult to do them.

Limited

Stow Lodge Centre, Stowmarket

I was advised by my GP to self refer but I went through the assessments etc but in the end was just referred back to my GP so I'm no further along. It was all a little limited and hasn't improved anything.

Brandon Leisure Centre

Mum was referred to the service by her GP but when we called to arrange an appointment we were told that she might not be able to be seen until medical issues had been addressed which was different to what he GP said. The service does seem heavily reliant on online access which really doesn't suit mum. I've had my contact details added so all appointment information is to me but they don't always do as asked which creates problems as mum can't always remember what has been said or what has been arranged. Initially they came out to mum but now she has to attend appointments at the leisure centre.
