I was initially sent to the Riverside but the help they gave was so limited that it didn't really help. I was then referred for an x-ray but then nothing has happened since. I don't feel that the service is very good as it is so hands off.
Exercises weren't helpful

Referred myself to the service for help with my arms but haven't found that the advice and exercises they gave me have worked. I went three times but it didn't help at all. I've now been referred to the hospital for further investigations and have been waiting for an appointment but its been months but at least the referral has been made.

Felt very comfortable with him. Found advice much more useful than any advice received previously from Doctor and Orthotics department. Would go again.

If you book your blood test on line you are seen dead on the dot however many people are waiting.

Very little support provided. The referral and all that they did was okay but it really didn't work for me and I need something more individual.

I self referred in to the service then had the physio offered and they decided that I needed a knee replacement. The longest part was the wait for the operation which was about six months but the care and advice was good thoughout.

The pre-op discussion provided was very good and the physio I saw initially regarding my knee was great. My operation is booked for later this month after going through the self referral route.
No actual physio

They have given me exercises to do but overall the service is very hands off with no actual physio provided. I had an X-ray but staff had not seen it so they weren't aware why I was there. They were running late on my first appointment and I don't really understand why I wasn't offered any physio from them.

I felt that the explanations provided by staff were a bit lacking and I was surprised the service was so hands off with no actual physio done.
Wouldn't listen

I feel that they were very one tracked on what they thought the issue was and they wouldn't listen to me or my GP. In the end I had operations that weren't necessary. My GP also didn't receive a copy of the letter from the MDT.
