Very good

I've had very good support from the doctors at the surgery they have been wonderful when I've needed them. Appointments are always available and they reception staff are so polite and helpful.
Great female GP

I did prefer the open surgery format and I don't feel that female issues are particularly well listened to and at times I've felt like I have to apologise for being there. I have seen a great female GP recently.

It's a wonderful surgery with great staff. Appointments are never an issue to get and although the system and way to get appointments has changed there really are no problems. Its great.
Care is good

The care here is very good but I really do not like having to pay for each specimen bottle that need as I need them quite regularly.

I do find that when staff answer the phone they are friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
Very impressed

I have had a knee issue and they referred me to AHP physio. I had a chest infection and they prescribed me antibiotic over the phone. I had a pain in my ear and I was given immediate attention. The reception staff are helpful and polite I am very impressed with the surgery.
They phone back within a few hours

It does take a bit of time to get through on the phone to them but it could be a lot worse. They use a triage system and the GP phones back within hours, I find this a good system. They are always prompt and polite with me.
A good surgery

This is a good surgery but I was left feeling somewhat disappointed because the GP only prescribed Co codamol, I would have liked if he had been a bit more thorough with his investigations, but saying all of this I do hold my GP in high regard. The staff are very good and polite.
Elderly patients not being checked on

I feel that elderly patients are left without anyone checking on them now that they are not able to get to see the GP face to face like they used to be able to. Maybe on a yearly basis they could be called in for an annual health check to check on other things at the same time.
A great surgery

It's a great surgery and although getting appointments is easy and no trouble it is different to how it used to be with the open surgery. One of the downsides is that you have to say what the issue is when speaking to reception which is difficult when it's more private. You should be able to say I'm not happy to explain.
