Not been straight forward

It;s a good surgery but it's not been straight forward trying to convince staff that house visits were needed but recently nurses have visited which is great.

A really lovely surgery, very lucky to have such a great surgery. Staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly and the dispensary team are great.

Although it has changed from an open surgery to appointments it does work really well. Call backs are quick and they are followed by appointments when they are needed, I'm very pleased.

The surgery really care and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can ring at any time and get help whenever it is needed, I've never felt fobbed off. The dispensary provide all the medications I ever need and I like that they say when it can be collected. I get a really good feel at the surgery, it doesn't matter who you see they fill you with confidence. The Advance nurse practitioner is wonderful.

The triage bit is great. I called on Monday, had a discussion with a GP and was given an appointment today which is Wednesday. I have so much confidence in the staff especially the Advance Nurse Practitioner. The reception team are lovely and polite, I couldn't ask for better from a surgery. The dispensary team are also very good and medication is available when it's needed and any issues sorted by them.
Spoke to GP quickly

I did an online econsult submission and then spoke to a GP quickly about the symptoms I have and they arranged for me to have a blood test today so I'm very happy with how it's all worked.
Easy to get appointments

It's been easy to get appointments or speak to someone on the day and I've found that the triage process works really well. I have no worries about using the surgery.

Can get appointments whenever they are needed and the triage process works well so you don't have to come in for everything. Staff especially reception staff make you feel comfortable and if its more personal they take a sensitive approach and don't push for details which is lovely. It would be nice to have a better female balance of doctors but I'm confident in the treatment and care provided.
Miss the face to face element

I preferred the open surgery format that was in place as I do find this more of a process to go through to get appointments and I miss the face to face element. It doesn't give me as much confidence in the diagnosis when I haven't actually been seen. Having said that the last time I spoke with a GP what they suggested did work. When you do need an appointment it can be days after talking to someone.
