Good. Friendly staff but difficult getting hydrotherapy due to transport issues

Friendly. Unable to have hydrotherapy due to times not fitting with public transport. Taxi cost £50 for return to Ipswich Hospital from Holton St. Mary

Thank you for leaving your comments, I have passed your comments onto the Hydrotherapy team who have responded: "We run sessions 4 times a week at the following times: Monday 9.00 – 12.00, Tuesday 9.30 – 12.00, Tuesday 1.00 – 4.00, Wednesday 1.00 – 4.00. We offer quite a good choice of times and we do try to tailor the appointment time to the patient’s needs in terms of being able to attend the appointment due to transport, work or other issues." If you let the staff know of your transport difficulties I am sure that they will attempt to book you onto a suitable session. Many thanks

Fair but dementia awareness lacking

Saxmundham Ward

Did seem to fully understand how badly dementia can affect someone It took a week for the forgetmenot symbol on her board. Had to continually ask for updates. Physio after surgery did not focus on skills needed to go home.

Fair. Treatment and staff can vary

November 6, 2017
Was seen quickly this time. Staff were good at explaining. Have visited many times and the care can really vary especially when busy in the department which changes the way the staff are with you.

Good system, staff are brilliant. Restaurant costly

Urology

Very good, the system works well. Brilliant staff explain everything well and are friendly. Cost in the restaurant is high . The only one in the outpatient clinic is expensive. The waits can be quite long in the department; this morning it's been a 50 minute wait. I really like having the TV on in the waiting area especially considering the waits

Sorry if your appointment was delayed, we do try to keep to time but sometimes unexpected issues arise that can delay appointments. We are starting to use the TV screens to display any relevant information including waiting times if they occur. Many thanks

Excellent. Staff are lovely.

November 6, 2017
The department works really well. Staff explain everything well so that I know what will be happening next. Time between appointments is good. It might be a good idea to put advice on the leaflet that if you are having a flu jab you can't have an injection/treatment. The staff are lovely. Was seen within 10 minutes today, which is normal
