Faultless and very friendly staff but parking difficult

Normally seen very quickly. Brilliant can't fault any of the service. The treatment received has been great, well explained by friendly staff. So caring and nothing is too much trouble. Very accommodating around appointments. The parking is very busy and can be difficult

Thank you for your comments about your care and the car parks. We are aware that at certain points during the day this can be an issue and we are working through a plan to increase the number spaces on the site. This is an on going project and should be completed early January 2018. It is good to hear when staff have made a patient feel at ease and cared for. I will pass on your concerns about the car parking to the relevant people.

Regular updates on delays would be better. Generally a very good department: the doctors explain everything well. Surgery was arranged very quickly and the staff really listen to how things feel. continuity with departments and consultants. If being asked to go to Colchester travel would be an issue

Very good. The helpline is very good; they are so helpful and patient with me. All works well, very friendly staff and consistent. Explain who you will be seeing and all information provided is great

Staff very good but parking very difficult

Car park is very difficult. I spent 3/4 hour trying to find a space. Really first cass assistance provided by the secretary of the department the other day. Very helpful. Staff have always been very good and caribg. Cardiac unit is very good here.

Lovely friendly staff who make you feel at ease. Waiting times have been good. Referral from GP worked well and I was seen quicker than advised

Excellent but easier for name on screen not number

Would be much easier to have your name on the screen rather than a number. A louder bell to let you know a number on the screen. Very limited supply of magazines

Many thanks for your comments regarding the system that is used in Outpatients to call patients. The main reason that number is used instead of the patients name is for confidentiality, the volume of the bells has been tested and this volume, along with the on screen notifications was found to be the most suitable. We have recently started obtaining a regular supply of magazines which are refreshed monthly.

Went to Orwell ward. Called the call bell; each time they came in, turned it off and walked off again. The way they spoke to you was rude and unhelpful.
