Very caring nurses in the Eye Clinic

The nurses are really caring and the treatment is saving the sight in my mothers eye, because we've been visiting the department for a number of years we've noticed an improvement in the waiting times.

I came in for the urology department but they spotted a problem and moved me to a different ward for a few days. I've just been discharged with everything I need.

I was seen quickly by reception and then by the triage nurse, everything so far has been very quick.

Last week we were seen very quickly, this time we've been waiting for nearly 2 hours. The care received though has been very good.
Discharged too soon

We feel that my husband was discharged too soon following surgery. He had a drain in which was removed but was discharged even though it was starting to swell.

When I visited A&E in October I was seen by a very abrupt consultant who was lacking any bedside manner. Even another member of staff commented on it. In the end I asked for another consultant who arrived with in a few minutes. The original consultant was trying to remove clothing with out care or attention to the cannulas.

I've been waiting 1 hr to be seen but with in 10 minutes of arriving I was assessed. No time frame has been given for me to be seen again.
