Very good service

It's a very good service, I attend as a walk in and normally I'm seen very quickly by staff.

It's not too bad to use the computer. Generally do walk-in appointments and so far, even when I've been told I'll have a half-hour wait, it's never been that long and I'm seen really quickly.

Tend to book appointments in advance using the computer at the healthcentre which works well. I'm seen quickly at appointments. It all works well and test results are quick.
Very busy at Riverside Clinic

Riverside phlebotomy service is very busy, 6 months ago you could walk in in the morning and have an appointment but now its very busy and is often quieter at the hospital so it can be better to go there.
Difficult to get appointments

Very difficult to get appointments and the transport is very difficult to access and therefore appointments are a trial.

We were at the hospital and the consultant for my son asked for him to have another blood test. We went to the clinic but they said we'd have to book which entailed another trip to the hospital a week later and more time off school.
Difficult to book appointment

After having the local service at the surgery stopped, now have to go to Sudbury. If you phone, there might not be an appointment for a week, but if you walk in the next appointment might be 2 to 3 hrs away, which means you have to wait a long time.
Booking a blood test is difficult

Trying to get a blood test is difficult. When you try to book online, it is a problem if you need it quicker than a week. I've then had to move a nurses appointment due to the difficulties. Walkins don't work for me as you can't guarantee how long you'll have to wait.
Poor Hygiene

Firstly, I am shocked that there is only 1 toilet in your clinic which is combined of disabled, ladies and males. It is absolutely disgusting that this toilet is not maintained as I went in around 9.40 and it was a state with urine all over the toilet seat. It is a struggle to even get the tissues out of the tissue dispenser as it doesn't even roll out and my condition requires me to go to the toilet instantly. The main receptionist also seemed so rude. Although not to me, a patient asked where the blood test bit is and instead of directing this patient she said next desk. How was that poor guy meant to know where the next desk is? So I said it is around the corner and to follow the red circles. Absolutely disgusting your service! On the other hand the nurse that did my blood test was lovely! Can't remember her name.

Extremely good. You can make appointments easily, parking is good and free and the service is local. Been seen promptly as well and staff are good. The computer system is a bit of a problem.
