Anima is simple to fill in. When Anima is turned off though the appointments you can get are in advance rather than on the same day. The surgery has always been really good.

Very pleased with how quickly I was referred on to hospital following an appointment. The appointment was easy and quick to arrange and I felt well listened to when raising the concerns I had.
Waited all day for telephone consult

Did not have one as did not happen .phoned twice to be told running late .
Dispensary can't always get my meds

The dispensary cannot always get my medication and I have to have a replacement, this can really throw you sometimes. Staff are good and it is local so thats helpful to me. Not open at the weekend though that would be useful.
Good stroke support

I do think this is an excellent surgery, they certainly were very supportive when my husband had a stroke in 2020. They referred us to some very useful services too.

I don't use the surgery much at all and I only really come in when they ask me to come to the surgery for a review which works very well. Always been happy with the staff I've seen.

I've been able to arrange my appointments ahead of time and have used e consult in the past and that has worked well but I've not used the new Anima system yet.
Booked yesterday

I managed to book an appointment yesterday after explaining everything to the staff who dealt with the situation. I'm happy to see any of the staff but I'm offered a choice when calling and speaking to reception which is good.
Next day appointments

I've been able to get next day appointments after speaking to a GP. I don't use online access but the phone works ok, it can be a bit busy at times.
Not a fan of Anima

I had to restart an Anima submission 3or 4 times as it didn't like the language I was putting on the form for my long term condition. I couldn't even use "breathing" to explain why I needed an appointment. It's not a user friendly system
