I was told by my GP to get a blood test. I set up an account online and booked a slot-it was pretty straightforward for me. I arrived a bit early and registered on the screen which was also pretty straightforward. I was seen on time and the nurse was very efficient and professional.

I had an outpatients appointment. It couldn't have gone better. I got a parking space, I was seen on time. Staff were courteous and professional. All good and I was outside inside an hour.
Not the hospital's fault

Blood test. Unfortunately this couldn't be done as my GP hadn't told me that I had to fast for 12 hours. This wasn't the hospital's fault and they were all very professional.
Noisy all through the night.

I had key hole surgery on my knee and was kept in overnight. Staff and Doctors were all fine and medically all went well but I had two issues. 1 There was a woman in the ward who was very vocal and noisy all through the night so that I couldn't sleep. I was told she was a 'regular' but that didn't help me. 2 On discharge, when it was time for me to leave there wasn't an appropriate wheelchair available for me. I had to be pushed out in a normal wheel chair with my mum trying to support my leg by holding it up with a sheet as a kind of sling. It was quite scary.

My GP arranged an X ray and I was seen with very little delay. The clinician identified themselves as a trainee and asked if I was ok with that-which I was. Everything was clearly explained and I felt well looked after.

My consultant arranged a walk in X ray appointment for me. It was very quick and very professional. My mobility is very limited but the X ray technician was very good at helping me. Also I had no problems in getting to the clinic in my mobility scooter.

I have been in pain for some time following a hip replacement. I came in to collect my TENS machine today and the staff were very professional in their training on how to use the machine and what it would do.

My appointment was to collect a TENS pain control machine. The explanation they gave was very detailed. I hadn't been looking forward to coming in but it was great.
