Everything was great

Orthopaedics
September 14, 2018
Everything was great! The only thing that could be improved is the decor-it is bit shabby. There were wheelchairs available which was good.

It was a very quick visit-absolutely first class. GO sent me for an x ray and I can't think how it could have gone any better

Stoke ward very good

Stroke services
September 3, 2018
The stroke ward has been very good, always someone on hand to explain whats going on and we've been given lots of information. Because no relatives telephone number was taken on admittance our family member was discharged with out checking what care or support was at home. It will be 5 days before we can have a visit to discuss ongoing care. Luckily neighbours have been great help but I do feel this should all have been arranged prior to discharge. You always feel you are trying to catch up with plans that are being put in place.

Staff have been rude and incompetent. There was a negative affect following some treatment but the follow up responses form staff were very disappointing.

Parking expensive

Urology
September 3, 2018
Its very expensive to park ow and you have to remember you registration number. I often see different urologists but this means that I am told to do different things and it appears that as you get older they don't really care. Because there is no continuity it really makes it more difficult than it needs to be and doesn't help.

Had to go private for treatment

Maternity
September 3, 2018
My baby was tongue-tied but the hospital did not diagnose this even though we were really struggling with breastfeeding. We had to go privately for both the diagnosis and treatment as there was nothing available from the hospital.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear of your struggle with breastfeeding and that there was no diagnosis of your baby being tongue-tied.

Breastfeeding can be so hard and we can completely appreciate the need for support surrounding both diagnosis and treatment of issues affecting breastfeeding whilst you were in hospital.

We will pass your feedback on to the relevant staff, but in the meantime we sincerely hope that you have seen an improvement since your baby had the treatment and many congratulations on the birth of your child.
