Ward F9 - It is good here, I have been well looked after and the food is edible!
Ward G8 I can't really find any fault.

Ward G8 - I have been in many times before-if I didn't know what to expect the explanations might be a bit thin. I can't really find any fault. You just have to call and they come. Food is much better than it used to be.

I was seen very quickly and I was looked after really well. I missed the pharmacy opening times though which mean't I had to get my prescription elsewhere
Discharged with terrible concerns

Resident was discharged to us and in the handover the nurse advised there were no concerns apart from a small moisture lesion to the sacral area. When this lady arrived back to us she had bright red urine burns all over her. Two grade one pressure areas on both big toes, deep marks on her nose both sides from her glasses that look like they haven't been taken off her face for weeks (she was in hospital for 4 weeks) the lady was very distressed.

All the care I've had at the hospital has been great. Staff have been friendly and approachable, their caring ach has been wonderful

I've had a number of skin cancers removed and all the treatment I've had has been excellent. I'm listened to and taken seriously and then they act quickly when they are concerned about anything.

I'm happy with the departments that I've visited, communication could be better as sometimes there is a lack of information coming from staff

I was referred to the hospital for further tests and had biopsys taken. Staff were friendly and explained things well.

Professional clean ward. Very patient and explained everything brilliantly. It's a discussion with the staff and I now have regular 6 monthly checkups at the hospital. I can see that the department is very busy, but they remain polite and I don't mind waiting.

I had an appointment which got changed. I went to the new appointment and when I was there, I found out the person who should have seen me wasn't there, so I had a wasted journey. Then I had a new appointment that was at an unsuitable time, so I had to change it again and it was difficult to rebook.
